Yellow Jersey Cycling at The Strickland Arms is your partner during your trip. Here to lessen the load and any stress, we can help you find routes, rent bikes, put you up in our comfortable accommodation, with bike storage, and an excellent complimentary breakfast.

With the freedom to do things at your own pace, we make sure the essentials are provided for you. Yellow Jersey Cycling aims to make cycling through some of the north of England's most stunning areas that bit more accessible - and comfortable!

Our Packages

We currently offer six customisable packages tailored to your interests, ambitions and ability.

Coast to Coast

A classic, must-do on every cyclists list! We provide arrangements to ensure you have food, accommodation and a place to leave luggage during your trip.

Mid-Week Escape to the Country

We can help you plan one or two longer routes around the area that will fill a week, or a selection of fantastic shorter rides and activities for each day.

Long Weekend

Plan an enjoyable route of any intensity around the local area with a meal and accommodation at the Strickland Arms Pub. Bike transfers arrangeable.

Half Day Cycles

For those looking for enjoyable, low-intensity rides around the local area, followed by a fantastic pub lunch recommended by Yellow Jersey Cycling based on the route.

Family Bike Rides

Family-friendly routes, with plenty of stops along the way such as Lowther Castle, with its Lost Castle adventure playground, gardens, exhibitions and cafe. Guaranteed fun for everyone!
