We are located in the heart of the Eden Valley, not far from the shores of Ullswater, and the peaks of the Lake District National Park. The Strickland Arms, Penrith is located in the peaceful village of Great Strickland. Great food, great hosts and most importantly, hot showers and comfortable accommodation. We offer secure lock-up space for bikes as well as a spot for you to hose them down and equipment to pump up your tires.

There are seven unique accommodation options available, from pub rooms to quirky hand built LogYurts, LogByres and a Shepherd's Hut - there really is something for everyone.

THE LOGYURT & LOGBYRES

Our hand-built LogByres and LogYurt are the perfect, quirky huts for relaxing in after a long day out. Roomy, creative but with all the modern features for a comfortable stay, you can not go wrong!

Each ensuite yurt sleeps a maximum of 6 people.

SHEPHERD'S HUT

Cute and cosy with a hint of luxury. Hand-built by owner Anton Flaherty and his team, The Shepherd's Hut offers the ultimate accommodation for turning your trip into a little adventure.
