Sir Bradley Wiggins wins the Tour of Britain in 2013. To celebrate this win Anton and Penny created a new cycle 'thread' along the most popular C2C ride in the world, and named it "Wiggo's Way" with the hope of encouraging people to enjoy the best of the Eden Valley on their bikes!

'Wiggo's Way' will be incorporated by Mark Porter on the C2C website and in 2014 C2C handbook as a new thread of the C2C cycle route.

'Wiggo's Way' starts at Strickland Arms and directs you through some lovely village roads into Brough (over the A66), then directs you via some breath taking scenery incl 2 reservoirs to Middleton on Tees a quaint Pennine town, it then directs you again via more breath taking scenery to Stanhope (a C2C oasis) where you can rejoin original C2C route

'Wiggo's Way' has a 10 mile Time Trial section which is available on Strava

Do Wiggo's Way and back in a day!!!
